In the week before Bold Italic in the Vooruit Ghent, Rustan and I traveled to this charming Flemish city to do a workshop with the master students of the graphic design department of the Sint Lucas academy. We titled the workshop 3 Days a Slave cos we had them work hard! Here are some images of that fun but instensive work week.
I look bad, Rustan looks good.
The assignment...SOMETHING OBSCENE OR CONTROVERSIAL
And then they started doing stuff like this...
What ever happened to that book, I hear you think... Well, as I write this I have just received an email from Broos and Stijn, two of the students, that they are putting it in the mail tonight... Fingers crossed. Cos the Belgium mail... Oh mama!
And then one day, the book just arrived.
